.earth. /wind\ [fire]

August was such a powerful and monumental month in my life. I’ve grown so much spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. But now that I’m at this point in my life, I feel like I’m on the edge of the cliff, wanting to jump into opportunities, but held back by the simple string called fear… Yeah, that one small string that has a huge grip. Kind of like a spider web. I break free and it comes back stronger…

Well thank God for RAID.

September is here and I am ready to jump. Auditions coming up :-) . 

But… I hear the web trying to form as I fall freely from the cliff of what was into the land of what is to come..

“into the land of what is to come” = earth.wind.fire

Earth: the foundation. my gifts/talents transforming from vision to purpose. vision to passion. vision to now. 

Wind: what carries me from place to place, position to position, person to person, love to love, fear to success. (changed it up). doubt to determination . pain to passion. guilt to gladness….yeah that Wind that told me that “if it is to be it’s up to me”. but most important, the Wind that moved those from my life that only wanted to hold me on the cliff where I started. 

Fire: what is allowing me to write this blog. The fire that has me up early in the morning, emailing, blogging, networking, tweeting, facebook[ing], texting and “grinding”. The fire that says” hey check out www.justingnelson.com actor. choreographer. dancer. model. singer” The fire that has me on EVERY social site for models/actors. Reading books, articles, magazines, blogs, documentaries, podcast, YouTube… you get the point.

When you get to the point, where nothing else matters but God, your career/future and doing what you have to do to get it, that’s when your .earth. /wind\ and fire will take place…

Well, Im growing stronger by the days! It feels good to be on Level 4!

Im going to be blogging some of my notes that I write during service. I just want to share them with you. Maybe you can take something from it! Enjoy

- You need to have faith in God. Your faith must be built upon the right source.a. Faith in his unmatched power! With Him all things are possible!b. You have faith in his unlimited provision! Philippians 4:19c. God has an irreversible plan. Isaiah 26:12
When God makes up his mind to do something there is nothing in the world that can stop it!!!!

Your faith is based upon a declaration of truth. It's possibility rest beyond it's human capabilities!God will bring it to pass! Talk about your own situation in a way that it will be based off truths instead of facts.

If it be your will...

What are you speaking about what your expecting???

You can talk yourself out of a blessing... (negative blessing)

2. Be able to display doubt. = doubled mindedness...Doubt causes the faith to become divided.
Doubt comes from the mental allowance of evidence that works against your faith.

When you try to fit a God sized transaction into a human sized skills action doubt happens.

Faith that works with ultimately believe that what it sees will happen.Faith that works is a faith that just sits there but acts as if it knows something is about to happen. Look for something to happen. Move from "of god can to when God does"

The Moment Is Near

Happy New Year to Everyone

I have a strong feeling that 2011 is going to be a year of great miracles and blessings for everyone! It’s been a while since I wrote a blog. I just wanted to share some things before the year started.
4 Steps to Mental Success:

1. Preparation

If you have yet to set a goal for your life or even this year, now is the time to do so! By setting goals, you are painting a picture or creating a "blueprint" for your success. Also, this gives you something to work towards and to keep you focused and on track.

My goals: Graduation/ Pass Teacher Certification Test/ Down to 155/ Healthier Eating <-- Blueprint.

2. Isolation

One of the hardest steps. In order to make it to step three, you have to allow yourself to become isolated from others, habits, surroundings, or anything else that may cause you to become distracted during this mental and spiritual journey. Once you find true isolation, you will be able to truly see your potential and your worth!I honestly struggled with this step only because of being in college, you face so many things, but with God all things are possible!

3. Elevation

My friend, Aaron once told me, "Only people that have proven to be responsible and relationally healthy should be around you." In other words, on this level of elevation, People have to earn to be around you. Think about it... Those that care about you and even mentors are the only people you need around you. Thank you Aaron for being one of the feeders into my level of growth.

4. Application

Once you reach level 4, know that this is going to be a test of your Faith or whatever it is you believe in. Being to apply what you faced to your daily living. Remember to help those that are in need, but don't allow them to bring you down. It took my four years to reach this level and I still feel as if I'm on level 2. Think of this as a process. However, we fall down, but we get up!

1/11/11 was a very sentimental day for me. My dad passed. Didn't see it coming, but it came. At that very moment, I dropped straight to level 2. From there, I was able to see who cared about me and what I needed to do to build my strength back up... Here it is, 1/16 and I’m back on my feet.

Expect the Great guys... 2011 IS OUR YEAR! The moment... is RIGHT around the corner!
